    Research interests

    I am a Medical Doctor, graduated from Copenhagen University 1999.
    I have a PhD from Steno Diabetes Center/ Copenhagen University  2010 regarding HbA1c units, glucose monitoring, diagnostic criteria, and clinical consequences of different measures and hyperglycemia .
    I am a specialist in Nephrology and Internal Medicine since 2015. Training at Roskilde, Copenhagen University Hospital (Rigshospitalet) and Herlev Hospital.
    Since 2015 practicing nephrologist/consultant at Zealand University Hospital (ZUH) with primary responsibility for in-patients at the department of nephrology.
    Since 2017 Associate Professor at Copenhagen University/ Research post at ZUH, Roskilde.
    Since 2018 administrative leader of the Clinical Research Unit at the Department of Medicine, Roskilde.
    Board member of the Danish Society of Nephrology; 2015-present.
    Areas of interest: Diabetes mellitus and diabetic nefropathy, proteinuria, chronic nefropathy, increased cardiovascular risk, hypertension, RAS-blockade, renal anaemia, HbA1c og glucose exposure, blood sample validation, epidmiology and register data. Compliance/adherence in populations of chronic diseases. I'm the local investigator of the DAPA-CKD trial.
