Abstract

Gastric volvulus is a condition that brings diagnostically difficulties due to various symptoms. It can be an easily missed diagnosis, which can have severe consequences in acute cases with gastric necrosis, perforation, and sepsis. The gold standard for diagnosis and treatment is a CT scan followed by surgical treatment with gastropexy.
