Abstract

EXercise as TReatment for osteoArthritis (EXTRA) is a parallel group, assessor- and patient blinded randomized controlled trial (RCT) assessing whether focused knee extensor strength exercise in addition to neuromuscular exercise and education improves self-reported daily life functions in patients with knee osteoarthritis.
